Manveen, my wife and I commences our 2019 vacation with Santorini as a First Stop. We checked in Milos Villas on 13th July night after being picked up from the Airport. Georgia, the Receptionist was most efficient and helpful and checked us in with just a passport number provided to her. The absence of bellboys was made up by Georgia helping us to carry our baggage to our Room No. 405.
The hotel has 27 rooms of different shapes and sizes and located at different levels. The linen is clean, basic toilet kit is provided, the free Wi-Fi is effective, running hot & cold water throughout makes the stay comfortable.
We only had breakfast at the hotel which could be improved with more fruits added in.
The main attraction of the hotel are the two receptionists Georgia and Gabriel who guided us to take the desired excursions, they also provided valuable information on how to move around to get to various parts of the Island, local bus station, where to buy reasonably priced items we required and so on and so forth.
On the whole a comfortable stay. However, following suggestions are made
a) should provide services of a Bell Boy to carry baggage.
b) should arrange transport, if not gratis on payment, to enable residents to move to local bus station and back
c) add more fruits in the breakfast menu
We would love to come and stay again in this hotel as it is prominently located with all basic amenities in place, very reasonably priced, friendly, courteous & helpful staff.
A wonderful little place
Me and my mum stayed here for 3 nights. A lovely pretty place to stay and Gabriel is so lovely and helpful. Nice big spacious room and balcony. Super pool and pretty surrounds made extra special with the Santorini windmill. Away from the crowds of tourists. Absolutely perfect.
Great launching point to see Santorini!
I can’t speak highly enough about the excellent service we received from Gabriel and Georgia. They go out of their way to make everyone’s stay a memorable experience. The prices for drinks and food are amazing as is the quality. Gabriel is a master bartender. Our room had a beautiful view and the pool was the perfect size. Rent a car at reception for day trips around the island. It’s a 15 minute hike up to town and the town is cobble stones so comfortable footwear is a must. We loved watching the donkeys walk home after their work day. Thank you!!
Very enjoyable stay!
We stayed here 3 nights earlier this month and despite some mixed reviews (depending on one’s expectations), we truly loved our experience here. Gabriel and Georgia are the most gracious hosts one could ask for; the pool area is a wonderful retreat especially when sipping on one of Gabriel’s delicious Aperol Spritzes or Passionfruit martinis. Great prices on food and drink, tucked away in the country with ocean views to the east side of the island.
It’s not luxury, but it’s truly a gem amongst Santorini options. Just rent a car and explore from this peaceful, delightful launching point. And if you want some great island travel tips, just ask Georgia or Gabriel and they will go above and beyond ensuring your total satisfaction. Thank you for such a nice stay!😎🍻
Spacious but a little basic
Despite being touted as a villa, complete with a classic greek windmill, this is a pretty standard hotel. It certainly boasted a huge room for us to use but that aside, the hotel was okay. The bathroom was kind of rundown and the breakfast wasn't that satisfying, nor were there too many options unlike the rest of our hotels in Greece. It's also a bit out of the way, a fifteen minute hike just to get the main road and you have to dodge a lot of horse/donkey droppings and speeding cars.
